From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Clark Griffith Portrait, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in an SGC 1 holder, and effectively representing the legendary Hall of Fame pitcher, manager and club executive whose career spanned the 19th and 20th centuries. One of two Griffith variations in the fabled issue, this Portrait variation has good centering and well-rounded corners and a front with severe creasing and some paper loss; the Piedmont 150 back reveals staining, dirt and light toning, along with some extraneous pencil notations.
