This is a lot featuring three major-league jackets from the late 1970s, with two game-worn and one a sample. The Red Sox heavy-lined blue satin jacket has the seven-button front and elegant chenille-stitched Red Sox logo on the front, along with red/white/blue sleeve and waist accents. In an unusual element, “Yaz” is in red tape on the inner collar, falling short of precise attribution to the Hall of Famer. Sample specifications labeling appears in the left pocket. The second jacket is a game-worn Seattle Mariners blue satin unlined example, with interior lining and stretch-knit collar, waist and sleeves. A Rawlings Size 44 label appears at the lower, inner button path. The final piece – also game worn – is an Oakland Athletics satin jacket, with seven-button front, pockets and collar, sleeves and waist trim accents. McAuliffe Size XL labeling appears at the collar, alongside hand-marked “24.”
