Presented is a handsome complete set of one of the big condition-sensitive challenges of the era, the colorful 9-by-9 ½-inch 1970 Posters that were printed on thin paper stock that was customary for the Topps oversized inserts in those days. Even with that caveat, this is an attractive array, with more than ½ of the set being Ex-Mt-Plus or better. Overall, it comes out to 38 percent Near-Mint, 17 percent Ex-Mt-Plus and 29 percent Very Good, with just four cards below to Good and Fair. Breakdown of keys: No. 2 Niekro – VG, 4 Brock – Fair, 5 Santo – Good, 7 McCovey – Ex-Mt-Plus, 11 Bench – Nr-Mt, 12 Frank Robinson – VG, 16 Carew – Nr-Mt and 21 Clemente – VG.
