This is a unique array of the condition-sensitive Kellogg’s 3D Baseball sets from the 1979 (2) and 1980 (4) issues, found here in the original mailing boxes from the company and presumably yielding six complete sets that have been untouched for more than four decades. The Kellogg’s issues featured the great stars of the era on 1 7/8-by-3 ¼-inch cards produced to a 3D effect. While the cards were issued in cellophane packages in their various cereals, the company also offered the complete 60-card sets in a mail-in offer, the format provided here. The two boxes from 1979 have been opened, but the original envelopes are intact; the four (4) boxes from 1980 are in untouched mailing boxes.
