Presented is a handsome example of one of the most popular Topps football issues of the 1970s, the 1976 Topps set that features perhaps the most important Rookie card of the decade: Walter Payton. As noted, the Payton and Too Tall Jones Rookie cards are found here in sparkling PSA 7 holders that provide a nice glimpse into the broader condition range, essentially Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with the emphasis to Ex-Mt and perhaps 10 percent or so below, mostly to Excellent and VG-Ex, and a dozen or so Very Good and ½ dozen Good. Eleven (11) of the Team Checklists have mk qualifiers.
