For fans of perhaps the most beloved college football program extant comes this extensive grouping of mostly game-worn jerseys from the last four decades, including some autographs and a few that are game-issued or practice shirts. Here’s the breakdown: 1) A 1984 midnight navy blue mesh home jersey is attributed to linebacker Mike Larkin from his senior year in South Bend. It has an all-mesh body, double-ply shoulder yokes, open sleeves, mesh V-neck collar and NOB screened directly on the jersey back; Champion XL label with fabric content, washing instructions and “3-inch Extra Length” are present, along with the Champion “C” logo is at the left sleeve. The shirt has no NOB and extra-wide sleeve openings, along with the Champion Mini “C” logo on the left sleeve. The jersey reveals solid wear to both shoulders, along with an unrepaired tear on the left shoulder.; 2) A 1990 Rusty Setzer game-worn white fishnet jersey is signed by teammate Charles Stafford on the left shoulder, attributed to flanker Setzer in 1990 and used in practice in 1992-93 by Stafford. It has white-mesh arm yokes with double-ply shoulders, ribbed nylon knit wide V-neck collar also in white. The main body is partial fishnet, with tail cut and spandex sides with arm supports. All identifiers are screened on in navy on old gold, the same for the interlocking “ND” logo on the sleeves. The NOB nameplate has been removed.; 3) An attractive game-worn Notre Dame midnight navy jersey from the period 1984-85 is attributed to fullback Pernell Taylor. The mesh jersey has the NOB is screened directly on the jersey back, finely ribbed sleeve cuffs and crossover neck; the oversized rectangular Champion label is at the tail, with “XL” and “3 inches Extra Length” flap tags. It has spandex side panels and underarms, and mini “C” Champions logo is stitched beneath Pernell’s No. 46 on the sleeves. The shirt reveals decent wear, with a left-front shoulder repair, unrepaired hole to the right-front chest and several turf burns and helmet dings.; 4) 1984-85 Lestor Flemons Game-Worn Notre Dame midnight navy home jersey, with double-ply mesh shoulder yokes, mesh crossover V-neck, partial mesh sleeves and main body and all screened-on identifiers; the NOB has been removed. The “C” Champions logo is on the lower left sleeve. The smaller Champions L label is at the tail, along with a 3-inches Extra Length flap tag. The shirt reveals minimal wear.; 5) 1983 Notre Dame Game-Issued home jersey, No. 70, with dark royal blue partial fishnet main body and sleeves, with double-ply mesh shoulder yokes and 12-inch sleeve openings. It has the finely ribbed V-neck collar and the mini Champions logo on the left sleeve; there is no NOB nameplate and the Champions XXL label appears at the tail, with fabric contents, washing instructions and 4-inches Extra Length flap tags adjacent.
