Still swatting at a pace almost worthy of another batting title at .328, Jackie Robinson’s second Bowman card shows up with some spectacular artwork that is certainly worthy of its subject matter. After the relatively crude printing processes of the 1940s, Bowman elevated its game and its subject matter with stunning artwork that featured players in action in evocative, verdant baseball parks from the time. Quite fittingly, Robinson’s is one of the best of this genre, a well-known batting pose from the most exciting – and important – player of his era. Robinson's 1950 Bowman single arrives in a PSA 4.5 holder, but features perfect centering, a clean surface and corners that look EX or EX/MT.
