Presented here is a highly collectible complete set of arguably the most attractive baseball card issue that Topps produced in the 1970’s, the 1975 Topps set that boasts the dual-color panels and full-bleed design that makes the cards so particularly condition sensitive to even the slightest nudges. This example is in an outstanding basically Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with some below the range and the emphasis to the upper end of the scale, headlined by the key George Brett Rookie found here in a PSA 3 holder. It boasts an outstanding presentation, with vivid colors and great gloss. The breakdown of keys and condition anomalies: No. 1 Aaron Highlight – Excellent, 5 Ryan Highlight – Ex-Mt, 20 Munson – VG-Ex, 50 Brooks Robinson – Ex-Mt, 61 Winfield – Ex-Mt-Plus, 70 Schmidt – Ex-Mt-Plus, 185 Carlton – VG-Ex, 194 MVP Mantle/Newcombe – Ex-Mt-Plus, 195 MVP Mantle/Aaron (2) – Ex, 200 MVP Mantle/Wills – Ex-Mt, 223 Yount Rookie – Ex-Mt-Plus, 260 Bench – Ex-Mt-Plus, 280 Yastrzemski – Nr-Mt-Plus, 300 Jackson – VG-Ex, 500 Ryan – VG-Plus, 600 Carew – Nr-Mt, 616 Rice Rookie – Nr-Mt, 622 Lynn Rookie (2) – Ex-Mt-Plus, 623 Hernandez Rookie – Ex and 660 Aaron – VG-Ex. The No. 620 Carter Rookie is almost 1/8 of an inch oversized, possibly indicating being cut from a sheet.
