This is an important artifact from Fleer’s second-year effort producing football cards in the 1960s, a pair of matching uncut sheets from Series II of that issue, cards featuring players of the fledgling American Football League. The massive 28 ½-by-42 ½-inch sheets reveal the kind of typical wear for their genre, with some modest moisture staining that touches 14 cards on one sheet and eight (8) on the second. The 132-card sheets have some double printing to accommodate the 88 cards in the second series, numbered 133-220. The Hall of Fame and stars roster includes Jack Kemp, Don Maynard (2-Rookie), Jim Otto (2-Rookie), George Blanda (2), Paul Lowe (2), Ernie Wright, Steve Mix, Abner Haynes and Tom Flores.
