Presented Is a high-grade trio of the last three Topps baseball issues of the decade of the 1970s, along with a breathtaking accumulation of duplicates from all three years, with 1977 in nearly as-issued condition of Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with some cards above and below the range and the emphasis clearly to Near-Mint and above. About two dozen cards fall below the condition range, most of those to Excellent; cards from 1978 and 1979 are even beyond that, essentially Near-Mint to Nr-Mt to Mt, seemingly unimprovable untouched cards. As the listing below indicates, the Hall of Famers and stars conform to the wider condition range; in the case of the near-2,400 duplicates, the lineup includes key Hall of Famers, Rookies and major stars, providing a great start on building several additional sets. The cards boast great color and gloss and super clean card backs, providing a wonderful, uniform presentation. Here’s the breakdown: 1977 Topps (1,170) – No. 10 Jackson – Good, 70 Bench – Near-Mint,140 Schmidt (2) – Nr-Mt-Plus and Very Good, 170 Munson – Nr-Mt-Plus, 231 Brett Record Breaker – Nr-Mt-Plus, 234 Ryan RB – Nr-Mt, 265 Fidrych Rookie – Nr-Mt-Plus o/c, 390 Winfield (2) – Nr-Mt (one of o/c), 450 Rose – Nr-Mt, 473 Dawson Rookie (2) – Ex-Mt-Plus, 476 Murphy Rookie – Nr-Mt, 635 Yount (2) – Nr-Mt-Plus and Nr-Mt and 650 Ryan (3) – Nr-Mt-Plus; 1978 Topps (1,970) – Duplication includes Ryan (3), Ryan Record Breaker (2), Murray Rookie (2), Dawson (2), Yount (3), Morris Rookie (4), Whitaker Rookie (4) and Murphy (2); 1979 Topps (1,430) – includes an additional Ozzie Smith Rookie (Nr-Mt) along with the PSA 6 example.
