This has to be one of the biggest, fattest and most imposing piles of basically Near-Mint or better baseball cards that we've ever offered, a rare chance to revisit the first half of that giddy 1980s decade with virtually all of the great sets (16) that marked the dawn of the new age of card collecting. In a weighty accumulation that includes dozens of nine-pocket binders, complete sets and factory sets, and literally thousands of duplicates that include many of the greatest stars and Rookies, this is an extraordinary opportunity with a freight bill to match. With many pristine, virtually untouched sets, factory sets and Update sets, the pedigree is essentially Near-Mint to Mint or better, with a few Ex-Mt in a massive pile that is basically as-issued cardboard. With this kind of humongous array, you'll forgive us if the duplication numbers are approximate. Here’s the breakdown: 1980 Topps set plus 535 duplicates, including three Younts, Ozzie, Jackson and Murray extras; 1981 Topps set plus 720 duplicates, including two extra Raines Rookies, Henderson and Gibson; 1983 Topps set and 46 duplicates; 1984 Topps set plus 630 duplicates; 1985 Topps partial set of 348 cards and including the McGwire Rookie; 1981-83 Topps Update sets in a binder; 1981 Fleer complete set in unsealed factory box; 1982 Fleer complete set plus 430 duplicates; 1983 Fleer complete set in a binder; 1984 Fleer complete set in a binder plus 40 duplicates; 1981 Donruss complete set plus 400 duplicates; 1982 Donruss unsealed Factory set; 1983 Donruss Factory set with original cellophane packs; 1984 Donruss complete set with 165 duplicates.
