Offered is an important grouping of more than 100 cards from perhaps the preeminent baseball card issue of the Depression Era, the 1933 Goudey Baseball set, found here in a condition range of mostly Poor to Good, fairly typical of how these cards are encountered in mature collections. The array constitutes nearly 45 percent of a complete set and includes a host of stars, All-Stars and key cards, including No. 1 Benny Bengough, Max Bishop, Dick Bertell, Ossie Bluege, Tommy Bridges, Guy Bush, Jimmie Dykes, Frank Demaree, Fat Freddy Fitzsimmons (2 different), Lew Fonseca, Mule Haas, Wild Bill Hallahan, Joe Judge, Willie Kamm, Lynn Lary, Red Lucas, Firpo Marberry, Bing Miller, Hal Schumacher (2 different), Luke Sewell, Rube Walberg (2 different), Lon Warneke, Earl Whitehill and Tom Zachary, to name a few.
