Offered is a fabulous uncut sheet of perhaps the most attractive coin set of the era, the 1 3/8-inch in diameter plastic coins that feature a paper insert on the front with striking, full-color artwork depicting the player against a crisp, white background. The coins were issued in Salada Tea and Junket Pudding products, with the initial set complete at 180 coins, which is represented here in an imposing 30-by-16-inch sheet of the cardboard discs that has been affixed to a heavy board. All of the major stars of the era are included in the lineup, from Mantle, Aaron, Mays and Clemente to Koufax, Yastrzemski, Killebrew and Marichal and everybody in between; the uncut sheet appears to be Near-Mint. The total of 180 constitutes the initial complete set of 18 teams (10 players per team) before the two expansion teams – the New York Mets and the Houston Colt .45s – were added later. Due to the size of this item, shipping will be substantial on this item.
