This is a fabulous piece from the Topps archives: a blank-backed 132-card proof sheet from the coveted 1966 Topps Baseball set, a Series Two classic with nine Hall of Famers, with five of those double prints. The 43-by-29-inch sheet includes the entire second series, with four rows double printed. While the sheet is technically Fair because of some of the typical wear to corners and light creasing that seems to affect about a dozen or so cards primarily at the bottom, it presents much better, with bright, vivid colors and the standout photography that were hallmarks of the popular issue. The Double Prints: Joe Morgan, Alston, Cepeda, Killebrew, Palmer, Roseboro, McCraw, Landis, Freehan, McGraw, Maloney, Brewer, McNally and Henry, plus the Series Two Checklist and the Mets Team card; the Single Prints: Whitey Ford, Brock, Banks, Torre, Colavito, Lopez, Ruiz, Aguirre, Campaneris, Malzone, Tolan Rookie, Dressen, McMahon, Powell, Harris, Parker, Lumpe, Power, Tartabull, Davenport, Pinson, Amaro, Menke, Buhl, Peters and Mota, plus the Series Three Checklist and the Angles and Senators Team cards. Due to the size of this item, shipping will be substantial on this item.
