Like an adjacent lot in this auction with a complete package featuring the 1969 Kahn’s Wiener Henry Aaron card, here are two other complete packages and a partial, all from 1969 and all three featuring important stars of the era. Hall of Famer Tony Perez headlines in this major regional food issue, the condition-sensitive baseball cards that were unceremoniously packaged with meat products. Perez graces this 2 7/8-by-11 3/8-inch complete package with the colorful 1 5/8-by-2 3/8-inch image, an artifact that presents in Excellent condition, with only some paper loss to the reverse. The second complete package with the same overall dimensions and Jim Maloney image size of 2 3/8-inch square is Ex-Mt. The final element is a partial package featuring Lee May in the Red Border format, measuring 2 ¾-by-8 ½ inches overall and 2 3/8-inch square image surface, presenting in Fair condition.
