This typed letter is signed by Harry Truman and dated November 22, 1969. It's typed on Truman's personal letterhead and is written to a friend after surgery. It reads in part, "Be patient and follow, as best you can, your doctor's advice." Truman signed in ballpoint pen and the signature is pre-certified by PSA/DNA. The original mailing envelope is included and there are two horizontal folds in the letter, none affecting the signature.
