This 15.5x9 land grant is dated June 23, 1810, with a beautiful black ink signature from James Madison. There is also an oversized signature from his secretary of state, Robert Smith. Document announces that George and John Anspach filed a certificate with the Janesville land office to own half of lot or section number seven of Township numbered one...'' Document contains a paper Presidential seal to lower right corner. Edges slightly toned and chipped with several spots along the left edge. Overall very good condition with signature authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full LOA.
