Tommy John is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball whose 288 career victories rank as the seventh highest total among left-handers in major league history. He is also known for the revolutionary surgery, now named after him, which was performed on a damaged ligament in his pitching arm. He had a lifetime ERA of 3.34, was a 4 time All-Star, and played in 3 World Series for the 1977 and 1978 Dodgers and for the Yankees in the 1981 World Series. We offer his personal Modesto Bees minor league contract when he was sent down to the minors for rehabilitation. Signed by Tommy John and Walter Jocketty (who was later the GM for the Cardinals).
