Two handwritten letters are offered in this lot, with Jocko Conlan and Sam Dungan. The Conlan letter is a fans' letter to the HOF umpire and Conlan has written his reply near the bottom and back, reading, "Thank you Tom: Umpires should deman more respect. That's the difference, Best to you, Jocko." He writes on the reverse: "Durocher wasn't tough. I won that one easy. Ha." The Dungan letter is two pages and signed at the conclusion in ballpoint pen. Both signatures are pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
