While Lou Gehrig signatures remain one of the most difficult to find in the hobby, you virtually never see any type of signed letter or additional text written in Gehrig's hand. Here's a rare chance to own a handwritten note by Gehrig himself, along with a perfect, full signature. The piece arrives in a PSA/DNA slab with the signature graded Gem Mint 10. On the back of a 1934 postmarked government postcard, Gehrig has written, "Dear John: I certainly appreciate your kind remarks, but unfortunately I haven't any photos. Wishing you good luck and kindest regards, from Lou Gehrig." The envelope has a postmarked through the left side, but not affecting the signature. The front of the envelope has a postmark from Fordham, NY, along with the recipient's address, also written in Gehrig's hand. This is a true gem and sure to be the centerpiece of a serious autograph collection.
