Like no other player of the postwar era, Mickey Mantle appeared on countless advertising and promotional items throughout his legendary career, and his name and likeness were attached to a host of restaurants, perhaps most famously with the Mickey Mantle Holiday in Joplin, Mo., which had been the final stop in his brief minor-league career with the Class-C Joplin Miners. The two-page, 12 ½-by-11-inch Menu presents in outstanding fashion even with a Good designation resulting from some minor creasing and dirt and staining. Printed in brown with green spot color, its crown jewel is the elegant Mickey Mantle autograph with a “Best Wishes” salutation. The autograph is duly blessed with a full JSA Certification Letter.
